Comedy Open-Mic at Preservation Pub

KnoxComedy.com brings you The Comedy Open-Mic at The Speakeasy Upstairs at Preservation Pub. This takes place Every Sunday. Any stand-up, improv group or sketch comedy team is welcome to sign up to perform. This will happen starting at 8pm until we are done.

Comedians must simply connect with Knox Comedy on Facebook and comment on that weeks event invite requesting stage time in order to perform.  We will limit each week to 15 performers for the sake of ourselves and the crowd. Sean Chidester runs this show, contact him directly to get on it.

MONDAY

Every Monday in Knoxville is the Stand-Up Comedy Open-Mic at The Well.  The Well is a live music venue that is 21 and up with a separate smoking section that keeps the air near the stage smoke-free. The room has a very good set up for comedy and is wider then it is long. This open-mic is run by Matt Ward. Contact him directly to get stage time.  This show starts at 9pm and has no cover or cost to perform. The venue is located between Spex and Lenny's Subs in a shopping center on Kingston Pike.

TUESDAY
Old City Comedy is back at Old City Entertainment venue.  This show is part open-mic with scheduled slots for featured performers.  Old City Comedy started in January of 2010 at Patrick Sullivan's but has found new life once again in the Old City at Old City Entertainment venue.  This show is also no cover and no charge to perform with no restrictions on material.  J.C. Ratliff runs this show, so contact him to get stage time on this show. Show generally starts around 9pm.

WEDNESDAY
The "TOO SMART!" Comedy Show is a show-up-go-up-style open mic in which smart comedy flies, and dumb comedy dies.  Come out and see some of the best and brightest stand-up comedians from the East Tennessee area at Knoxville's newest, hottest open mic comedy show EVERY WEDNESDAY @ 8PM at 11 Cafe, as they polish new material in a friendly workshop atmosphere. Open sign-ups begin at 7:30PM, and first-timers are welcome! Performances will be timed and lighted accordingly depending on allotted set lengths. 11 Cafe serves beer and wine as well as Coffee's and various glorious eats.  This show has a little something for everyone.

Side Splitters Comedy Club

Side Splitters Comedy Club in West Knoxville offers a twice monthly open-mic that often takes place on Wednesdays.  They charge crowd and comedians $10 to get in which gets you one free drink and a piece of pizza.  You get 5-6 minutes and get a light at 5 minutes.  No limits on this open mic in terms of content, but don't say the N-word is  general rule of thumb for white people.
