Side Splitters Knoxville
Side Splitters Comedy Club took over the space formerly occupied by The Comedy Zone at 9456 Parkside Drive in West Knoxville in January of 2009. The club seats 200+ in it's main room and the lobby/bar area is called "Sid's Lounge" where many of the open mic events are hosted.  The club is best accessed by taking the Cedar Bluff exit off of route I-40/I-75 west of Knoxville.  This is a sister location to the original Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa, Florida.

Bridgette O'Dell is the primary booking contact for the club.  Shows generally run from Thursday through Saturday but the open mic and other special events occur on Sundays and Wednesdays. This is the only full time comedy club in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The Speakeasy at Preservation Pub is home to The Upstairs Underground at The Speakeasy, an open-mic comedy show and occasional touring comic showcase.  The space has a fully functional bar and 10 booths for seating along with bean bags and other chairs.  Capacity of the room is about 85 and the stage area is normally set up as a lounge but is converted for performances.  Upstairs Underground is booked by Matt Ward of KnoxComedy.com.  Preservation Pub is located in Market Square in the heart of downtown Knoxville.  The address is 28 Market Square, Knoxville, TN 37902.  Shows will be on Sunday Nights at this venue.

Beginning in early 2011 The Riverside Theater started their Clean As A Whistle Comedy series featuring G comedians from all over the country. The room seats over 140 people and provides a smoke free, profanity free venue for folks to come out and watch original stand-up and improv comedy.

A Great Room for Stand-Up Comedy in East Tennessee
1341 Comedy is a brand new comedy room started January 13th by comedian Alex Stokes. They plan on doing shows every Friday and Saturday Night. The venue is located at 1341 Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville, TN just east of Knoxville. This is the first venue in Sevier County to offer full time Stand Up Comedy from some of the best Up and Coming Comics in the Southeast! Every Thursday and Friday night, and some Saturdays, come and enjoy a "Comedy Club" type atmosphere, with a full Bar and Food Menu, and hilarious "R" Rated Stand Up Comedy! Comics will be from Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Spartanburg, Asheville, Lexington, and many other places in the Southeast. JJ's Bohemia is a cool little dive bar (PBR Bar I like to call it) that serves only beer but also delivers up fresh laughs not only from regional talent, but occasionally from nationally recognized comics.  Recently JJ's hosted Kyle Kinane, and on another occasion James Adomian stopped by to do a show.

The room holds about 80-100 is mostly standing room. The comedy shows are run and booked by comedian Joel Ruiz.  He can be contacted on facebook or you can e-mail us and we will put you in touch with him.  Shows usually happen at JJ's Bohemia on Tuesday nights.

Johnson City, Tennessee

The Comedy Vault is a new stand-up comedy room in the back 'vault' of Capone's, not far from the campus of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.  Capone's first show is/was January 21-22nd, 2011.  This is a great room for comedy that just happened to acquire seating from a now defunct club in Asheville.
